If you are thinking about taking the family to the jewel of Thailand, which is otherwise known as Phuket, you have made a wise choice. The tropical paradise that is southern Thailand has much to offer the tourist and here are a few family activities that you can enjoy when you book a holiday in sunny Phuket.

  • Andamanda Water ParkThe amazing waterpark Andamanda Phuket must be the top of our list of family-friendly places to visit. This water park is unique as it blends with ancient Thai culture into the backdrop and the many rides within the grounds. You’ll love the angel slides, which offer dual participants on a long and thrilling water ride. The racing Nagas are another firm favourite and this fantasy park is the perfect place for the family to spend a day.
  • Blue Tree Water Park – Thailand is hot and that means having a great time at Blue Tree Water Park; the stunning 17,000 square metre lagoon is the highlight, with zip lines, water rides and other amazing activities. Located close to Bangtao Beach, this park is home to some awesome waterslides that run around the lagoon, which are the major attractions for the adults and older kids.
  • Kids clubs – Phuket has several kids clubs, with hands-on fun resources and most have arts & crafts classes that cater for all ages. Definitely good for a morning or afternoon and your kids won’t want to leave! Top locations include the Happy Kids Club, situated in Central Florester, this is an a/c adventure space for kids up to 12 – a soft play space for toddlers, climbing frames for 8-12 year olds; they can watch their favourite cartoons in a colour gallery (a big favourite) – there is a baby-sitting service, which is great if you fancy a body oil massage. Kids under 4 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised, while there’s lots to do the older kids and a fantastic colouring corner.
  • Rawai Park Phuket Kids Club – Rawai Beach is the place to go if you want stunning beaches and umbrellas, it also happens to host one of the best kids water parks. A collection of shallow pools with colourful slides are there to be explored, with fantasy fountains and refreshing waterfalls.
